1. About Mental Root and the Services

Mental Root operates a digital platform designed to help users connect with independent, licensed mental health professionals (“Practitioners”). Mental Root provides non-medical administrative and technology services only, such as:

  • User intake tools

  • Scheduling and account management

  • Software and technical support

  • Platform maintenance

Mental Root does not provide medical or mental health treatment. All clinical services are provided solely by independent Practitioners, who are responsible for their own professional judgment and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Nature of Services

  • Practitioners offer remote mental health services where legally permitted.

  • Services may include therapy or related mental health support, subject to eligibility and informed consent.

  • Mental Root does not guarantee diagnoses, treatment outcomes, or results.

  • Services provided through the Platform are not emergency services.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if:

8. Practitioner Independence

  • Practitioners are independent professionals, not employees of Mental Root

  • Mental Root does not supervise or control clinical decisions

  • Any medical advice comes solely from the Practitioner

Mental Root does not endorse any specific treatment, medication, or medical opinion.

9. Platform Content Disclaimer

All content on the Platform (articles, text, graphics, videos, blogs, and educational material) is provided for informational purposes only and:

  • Does not constitute medical advice

  • Does not create a provider-patient relationship

  • May change without notice

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, stalk, or exploit others

  • Availability of services

  • Platform uptime or error-free operation

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mental Root harmless from claims arising from:

  • Violation of applicable laws

18. Termination

Mental Root may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or legal requirements.

Upon termination:
